A secluded Moroccan villa for families and friends seeking natural beauty and total relaxation

We never had a
holiday so long in the planning, so expectations were high. But La Diouana exceeded in every way. We loved the ever- changing tides and the opportunities for fun and play on the lagoon... best of all, we were never too hot and lovely cool nights meant sound sleep for children.

Wonderful Oualidia
There are few places in the world with a setting as magical as Oualidia (pronounced Wa-li-dee-ya).
The village is situated north of Essaouira and south of Casablanca, on the wild Atlantic coast of Morocco. Here, the cliffs give way to a five-mile long tidal lagoon. At the southern end are soft sandy beaches and a ruined royal summer palace. To the north, the lagoon winds its way through a protected nature reserve of oyster farms, wetlands and bird habitats.
For over 15 years La Diouana has been the place to stay in Oualidia. Perched on a clifftop close to the town centre, with a 25,000 sq ft garden, an infinity pool and some of the finest views in Oualidia, La Diouana combines the best of a boutique hotel and a private villa.
If you feel like taking a break from cooking, our ever-smiling chefs Fatima and Hanane can serve delicious seabass, spider crab, paella, charcoal-grilled kebabs, chicken and olive tagine, vegetable couscous, aubergine, cauliflower & bean salads and many other Moroccan and Mediterranean dishes at very modest prices. The villa sleeps 10 guests (up to 13 on request). Maid service is included. What are you waiting for?
